2017 Honda CRV makes global debut – Photos, Video

2017 Honda CRV is seen with new exteriors, smarter and more spacious interiors and a new 1.5 liter turbocharged engine. Exteriors boast of a grill design borrowed from the Civic while headlights are akin to those seen on Acura cars. Tail lamps are angled and while the rear end is finished in a more premium design.

2017 Honda CRV boasts of more spacious interiors, thanks to increased dimensions while added features include a larger touchscreen, new air vents and a digital instrument cluster.

New placement of the shifter adds to driver comforts while passenger legroom at the rear is increased by 2 inches. Remote engine start, dual zone climate controls, electric parking brake, heated side mirrors and passenger seat in front with 4 way power adjustment along with 8 way power adjustment for driver seat is also evident.

Infotainment is in the form of 7” touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Seating is comfortable for  5 adults while cargo space has also been increased by 2 cubic feet to now stand at a total of 39 cubic feet.

Power to 2017 Honda CRV will be from a new 1.5 liter turbocharged engine offering 190 hp power and 179 lb/ft torque and mated to a CVT with Honda G-Shift control logic sending power to all four wheels. 2017 Honda CRV will continue to compete with the likes of Toyota RAV4, Subaru Forester, Chevrolet Equinox and Ford Escape even as pricing has not been announced as on date.
