Audi RS Q8 Bookings Open At Rs 15 Lakhs – Launch Late August

Audi RS Q8 is the flagship of Audi’s SUV line-up

Teasers herald the arrival of the new Audi RS Q8 later this month in India. It will be the company’s forth product to launch in 2020, after the Audi RS 7 Sportback which was launched in July. The RS Q8 was showcased at the Los Angeles Auto Show last year and is expected to cost close to Rs 2 crore in the Indian market.

Audi India dealerships have opened bookings for the new Audi RS Q8 at a booking amount of Rs.15 lakhs. All company dealerships are accepting bookings while buyers can also log on to the company website www.audi.in to book the fastest Audi SUV.

Audi RS Q8 is a full sized SUV, promising high performance. It had created a new record at the Nürburgring circuit as the fastest series production SUV, with an acclaimed lap time of 7 minutes and 42.2 seconds. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is achieved in 3.8 seconds while top speed is limited to 250 kmph going up to 304 kmph with an optional dynamic package.

The Audi RS Q8 gets sporty exteriors. It will receive a new front fascia with a single frame grille, revised front and rear bumpers, an integrated diffuser, RS spoilers and will sit on 22 inch wheels as standard while options could also include 23 inch wheels. The interiors will be done up in leather.

Sports seats see Alcantara upholstery while steering wheel is flat bottom and leather wrapped. The infotainment system supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay while in terms of safety, the RS Q8 gets 6 airbags, ABS, EBD, crash sensors and engine immobilizer. Like the standard Audi Q8, the RS Q8 will also come in with a range of customization plans according to buyer preference.

Audi RS Q8 is powered by a 4.0 liter, TFSI twin turbo, V8 petrol engine. This engine is capable of 600 hp power and 800 Nm torque with power sent to all 4 wheels via an 8 speed automatic gearbox along with Audi Quattro all wheel drive system. Audi also offers 7 drive modes to suit any kind of driving style and road condition.

Once launched in India later this month, the Audi RS Q8, which will be brought in as a Completely Built up Unit (CBU), will be seen as a rival to the Lamborghini Urus, BMW X6 M and Porsche Cayenne Turbo.
