These ultimate power packed high end Crossovers from the German company are propelled by same 4.4 litre twin-turbo V8 engine that is uprated to push 3.6 percent more power and whooping 10 percent more torque.
The German luxury car manufacturer quotes 0 – 96.5 kmph (60 mph) acceleration time of 4.0 seconds and 0 – 100 kmph (62 mph) time of 4.2 seconds, for both X5M and X6M. Top speed is electronically limited to 250 kmph (155 mph).
On the exterior, BMW X5M and X6M look intensely beefed up with wider bumpers, larger air-dams, wheel arch extensions, new ORVMs, gills on fenders (as a part of latest design language), diffuser with four pipes and two new exclusive M coats labelled Donington Grey Metallic and Long Beach Blue Metallic. Interiors of new X5M and X6M are spruced up with a variety of M styling cues, like carbon fibre trims on dashboard, racy steering wheel, sportier gear lever made of aluminium, sports seats and Alcantara headliner.
