Powering the new Ducati Scrambler is the same 803 cc L-Twin engine which powers the existing Monster 796. It generates peal power of 75 hp at 8250 rpm and a peak torque of 68 Nm at 5750 rpm. Power is delivered by a six speed transmission. Front features Pirelli MT 60 RS 110/80 ZR18 while rear has Pirelli MT 60 RS 180/55 ZR17 tyres.
Sitting on Ducati’s signature Trellis frame, the Scrambler weighs 186 kgs. Offered in four trims, Icon, Classic, Full Throttle, and Urban Enduro. Features on offer include LED lights, Brembo brakes with two channel ABS, multi function digital instrument panel, upside down front shock absorbers with Kayaba suspension, and rear monoshock. Price starts from $8,595 (Rs 5.32 lakhs), making it the most affordable Ducati motorcycle.
