Eicher Trucks and Buses has announced the launch of fully built range of reefer trucks (refrigerated) based on its mid-premium Pro 1000 and Pro 6000 series. The Pro 1059 XP reefer, Pro 1110 XP reefer & Pro 6025 reefer provide the end customers ready to use solutions for cold chain logistics.
The reefer truck range is available in 7 to 25 tonne GVW (Gross Vehicle Weight) range. The advantages of the fully built Eicher reefer trucks include an ARAI approved OEM design and minimized fuel consumption.
The trucks are available in varying deck lengths of 14 ft, 20 ft, and 24 ft. The refrigerated compartments have an operating temperature range of -25 degree centigrade to +25 degree centigrade under ambient conditions of up to +50 degree centigrade. The trucks are suitable for transporting several perishable goods.
The Eicher reefer trucks are based on the Pro 1000 and Pro 6000 series (image is used for representation only).The Pro 1059 XP reefer is powered by a E413 BS-III engine which produces 95 PS at 2800 rpm and a max torque of 285 Nm at 1400-1600 rpm when mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The truck has a wheelbase of 3,515 mm and a fuel tank capacity of 60 litres.

The Pro 1110 XP reefer truck also employs the same E413 BS-III engine but produces 115 PS at 2800 RPM and 400 Nm of torque at 1400-1600 rpm. It has a wheelbase of 4,300 rpm and a fuel tank capacity of 190 litres. The range-topping Pro 6025 reefer truck is propelled by a 5 Litre BS-III engine which is mated to a 6-speed MT to belt out 210 hp at 2200 rpm and 825 Nm of torque at 200-1600 rpm. The truck has a wheelbase of 5,300 mm and has a 415 litres of fuel tank capacity.
