At a special, customers only event, Ferrari revealed their all-new 488 GTB. This is the first known event, where the 488 has been showcased. The event tool place at the Italian marquee’s Maranello plant. Here are some exclusive Ferrari 488 GTB images from the event.
Ferrari 488 GTB is a replacement to the 458, that was launched in 2009. The new 488 will sport a 3.9 liter V8 turbocharged engine capable of 661 hp and 760 Nm torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 3 seconds and reach a top speed of 330 kmph.
The exclusive event drew attention to the exclusive supercar in general, while engine bay, side profile and interiors were also detailed via live photos and a short video. Ferrari 488 GTB in a gunmetal grey colour drew striking resemblance to the 458 Italia.
Slated to be the most responsive production Ferrari to date, the new Ferrari 488 GTB now heads to the forthcoming Geneva Motor Show next month where it will be displayed to an extended audience. Official prices are yet to be announced but due to its exclusivity and outstanding performance and the fact that it carries a Ferrari tag one can safely expect a price tag of around £190,000 (INR 1,82,45,536, US$ 293136 ) when it goes into production in September.
