Kia Seltos diesel top variant to get single tone metallic alloys – First photos

Kia Seltos is now on display across India, at the 190+ dealerships / showrooms of the company. Test drives have also started. Most of the dealers have the petrol GT Line variant on display, which is also the most feature loaded variant of Seltos on offer. It comes with sporty dual tone alloys with red brake calipers.

In Kia speak, these alloys are called ‘crystal cut’, and will be on offer with all variants of GT Line. On the GTK trim, it will not get red brake calipers. Other variants will get the red brake calipers.

These dual tone alloys will not be shared with other variants apart from GT Line. The other variants will get single tone alloys. Kia call these ‘Hyper Metallic alloys’. These will be on offer with the HTX and HTX Plus trims. The base HTE and mid HTK variants get steel wheels. All alloys and wheels are 17 inch in size.

Ahead of launch, the variant wise features of the Seltos have been revealed by dealers. Its talking point is its 37 internet connected features along with its Bose 8 speaker system. Its feature wise first in class features are listed below.

The Kia Seltos HT Line E variant gets exterior features of projector headlamps and skid plates at the front and rear. Interiors sport rear AC vents, an adjustable driver sear, front arm rest with storage box, power windows and manual air conditioning. It also receives safety features in the form of ABS, EBD, dual airbags, tilt and power steering wheel, keyless entry, central locking and steering mounted controls. Infotainment is via a 3.8” 2 DIN audio with Bluetooth, 4 speakers and a shark fin antenna.

Kia Seltos HT Line K variant gets all the features seen on the E trim along with projector fog lamps, a bridge type roof rail along with mudguards at the front and rear. Interiors sport one touch auto down windows, electrically adjustable ORVMs with LED turn indicators and a black finished central panel. Infotainment is via an 8.0” touchscreen infotainment system with ARKAMYS, Android Auto, and Apple Car Play, 6 speakers and a front tray USB charger.

Kia Seltos HT Line K+ variant, along with feature sported on the HTK variant is also seen with rear wiper and washer, rear defogger, auto folding ORVMs, auto light control, smart key with push button start and auto cruise control. It sits on R16 hyper metallic alloy wheels and gets heartbeat LED DRLs. The rear door gets a sun shade curtain while interiors get flooded with LED sound mood lights and driver windows are in one touch auto up down system.

Kia Seltos HT Line X variant sees an addition over the HTK+ variant sits on R17 Hyper metallic alloy wheels. It gets a High Line tyre pressure monitoring system, crown jewel LED headlamps, heartbeat LED DRLs and sweeping LED light bar. Infotainment is via a 10.25” HD touchscreen infotainment system and UVO Connected Car which is free for 3 years. Interiors are done up in a black and beige colour scheme with the leatherette seats sporting a honeycomb pattern. Seating is in a 60:40 split folding system while the steering wheel is leather wrapped and sporting the Seltos logo. Safety is via smart key with push button start, auto cruise control, telescopic steering wheel and fully automatic AC.

Kia Seltos HT Line X+ gets all of the features seen on the X variant in addition to an electric sunroof, front parking sensors and solar glass for the front windscreen and door windows. Interiors sport ventilated front seats, 8 way driver power seats and an 8 speaker Bose sound system along with an advanced 7” colour display.

The Seltos GT Line K variant gets a bridge type roof rail, front and rear mudguards, slid plates with red accents, R17 crystal cut alloy wheels, all LED head and tail lamps with LED DRLs and rear parking sensors. Its interiors get telescopic, leather wrapped steering wheel and an 8” touchscreen infotainment with ARKAMYS, Android Auto, Apple Car Play and a total of six speakers. ABS and END are offered as standard along with airbags for driver and front passenger, all wheel disc brakes and power steering. Smart key with push button start and auto cruise control are also among these safety features.

The Seltos GT Line K gets an optional two tone roof, solar glass for windshield and windows and interiors done up in beige leatherette. It also gets anti glare inside rear view mirrors with UVO controls, smart 8” head up display, advanced 7” colour display, ambient lighting, and a high speed smartphone wireless charger. Safety is via side and curtain airbags, tyre pressure monitoring system, ESC, hill hold assist, vehicle stability management and brake assist.

GT Line X+ gets all the features offered in the GTX variant in addition to ventilated seats, 8 way driver seat, an electric sunroof, 360 degree camera with surround view monitoring system and blind view monitor in cluster LCD. It also sports an 8 speaker Bose sound system.
