Priced at INR 16,990 (excluding taxes), Maruti Suzuki has announced the new Urbano package. This new package will be exclusively offered on board the Maruti Alto K10 small car. The trims of Alto K10 which can be opted with the Urbano package includes – LX, LXi, VXi and VXi (o) trims, including CNG.
Some of the exciting new features offered on board the new Urbano package are reverse parking sensor, hands free bluetooth kit, premium leather seat covers, stylish pedals, fast USB charger with voltage and temperature display, designer range chrome garnish, trendy ambient light with LED door sill guard, ORVM garnish, back door wheel arches, and long range vision bulbs.

In all, 18 new features are on offer with the Maruti Alto K10 Urbano package. If a customer wants to install the same number of features on new Alto K10, it will cost over INR 20k. Maruti also mentions that the Alto K10 Urbano Limited Edition also comes with a special 90% funding on MGA package. This will help buyers to opt for the package with ease.
Under the hood Maruti Alto K10 Urbano Edition features the same engine and transmission option. Engine is in the form of 1.0 liter K series engine generating 68 PS and 90 Nm torque via a five speed manual gearbox.
Priced from INR 3.20 lakh, for the base variant, ex-showroom, New Delhi; Maruti Alto K10 is facing competition from the newly launched Renault Kwid, which has amassed more than 25,000 bookings in less than 15 days of launch. Most of the Renault Kwid buyers are believed to be first time small car buyers, who were originally planning to buy a Maruti Alto or Hyundai Eon.
With the launch stylish looking Alto K10, Maruti hopes to regain some customers back to the brand, especially during the festive season which is just around the corner.
