Powered by a 1043 cc liquid cooled, in-line 4 cylinder engine, the new Kawasaki Ninja 1000 is priced from INR 9.98 lakh, ex-showroom in India. Price on-road stands at Rs 11.8 lakh, ex-showorom. Mated to a 6 speed transmission, the engine delivers a peak power of 140 hp and a peak torque of 111 Nm.
The new Ninja 1000 is offered in exciting colour options of – metallic carbon grey with metallic spark black and metallic carbon grey with emerald blazed green. First four units have were delivered in Chennai earlier this week. Owners are four friends.

Featuring a more sharper design than before, 2017 Ninja 1000 comes with LED headlamps, new front cowl, upright riding position, increased wind protection, thanks to a new taller double bubble windshield. The windshield is adjustable by hands (no tools required). It also gets more comfortable seating, and clean-mount pannier system. Below are the dimensions of the new Ninja 1000.
