Suzuki Ertiga Black Edition launched in Philippines – Price P738,000 (approx Rs 9.7 L)

The 2019 Suzuki Ertiga Black Edition is now on offer at all company dealerships in Philippines. New Suzuki Ertiga Black Edition GA MT is priced at Php738,000 (Rs 9.7 lakhs) while the Ertiga Black Edition GLX AT carries a price tag of Php988,000 (Rs 13 lakhs) Php 10,000 (Rs 13.2k) more than the regular GA and GLX variants.

Suzuki Ertiga, which remains Suzuki Philippine’s best selling model, was earlier sported a beige color scheme. However, the need for an all black edition was felt due to the fact that all buyers did not prefer the light colour scheme as it was easily susceptible to becoming dirty. The all black edition addresses this problem and at the same time adds certain flair of sportiness to the Ertiga with all black interiors.

2019 Suzuki Ertiga Black Edition sees no exterior changes and is offered in color options of Metallic Magma Gray, Metallic Silky Silver, Pearl Burgundy Red, Pearl Glorious Brown, Pearl Radiant Red, Pearl Snow White and Prime Cool Black. However, the interiors get completely revamped with the all black color scheme with metallic chrome accents. The blacked out interiors see all black treatment on its dashboard and seats, doors and side panels.

Engine specifications also see on change and the MPV continues to be powered by a 1.5 liter, 4 cylinder, 16 valve, MPFI, DOHC petrol engine offering 104 PS power and 138 Nm torque mated to manual and automatic transmissions.

Suzuki seems to be following a similar trait across the globe, when it comes to launching a limited edition variant. Every year in India we get a limited edition model, which is nothing more than a sticker job. The Ertiga above, is more or less a similar case of limited edition. What will truly be an exciting edition, is the Ertiga GT, which is going to make global debut on 22nd March in Indonesia.

To be offered in matte and metallic color options, updated features will include a front lower spoiler, side skirts, honeycomb radiator grille and upper rear spoiler. It will also be seen with a rear lower spoiler and optional black glossy painted wheel rims. Engine too is expected to get changes, to deliver more performance. The Ertiga GT will be the more premium variant than any other Ertiga variant on offer today.
