Maruti Baleno nameplate was first used on a sedan, which was launched back in 1999 in India. Offered only with a petrol engine, the car was discontinued in 2007. Now, in 2015, Maruti is once again bringing the Baleno (meaning Flash in Italian), back in the market. The new Maruti Baleno will be a premium hatchback which was internally codenamed as YRA. It will be launched in India be Diwali 2015, and rival the likes of Hyundai Elite i20.
