Tata Hexa vs Toyota Innova Crysta Comparison – Exteriors, Interiors, Specs, Price

Exterior – Toyota Innova Crysta receives a muscular stance with new front fascia, hexagonal front grille and dual chrome bars. It gets swept back headlamps and projector lamps with integrated LED units while fog lamps are also evident on front bumpers. 5 spoke alloy wheels, beltline crease and roof spoiler are also among its exterior features.

Tata Hexa on the other hand looks much more sportier and imposing as compared to the Tata Aria. It also gets projector headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights, piano black front grille and dual fog lamps. It also receives dual air damps on either sides, air intakes in the middle and wrap around tail lamps. It is seen with roof spoiler and body cladding along with massive wheel arches.

Dimensions – Toyota Innova Crysta measures 4,735 mm in length, 1,830 mm in width, 1,795 mm in height and sits on a wheelbase measuring 2,750 mm. The Tata Hexa measures 4,764 mm in length, 1,895 mm in width, 1,780 mm in height while wheelbase also gets extended to 2,850 mm.

Interiors – Toyota Innova Crysta gets an interiors design with premium features, while it is airy and spacious. It sports a multifunction steering wheel with analog dial and TFT display along with 7” touchscreen, dashboard with wooden trims and a host of passenger comforts in the form of cup and glass holders, arm rests and LED ambient lighting. Tata Hexa also presents a premium look with its multifunction steering wheel, touchscreen infotainment system, well designed instrument cluster and piano black finished central console. It also gets ambient lighting while space at the rear is at a premium thanks to its longer wheelbase.

Engine – Tata Innova Crysta receives GD series engines in the form of a 2.4 liter DOHC inline four cylinder 2GD-FTV diesel CRDI BSIV engine offering 150 PS power and 343 Nm torque mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox. It also gets a 2.8 liter 1G-FTV 16V CRDI DOHC engine offering 174 PS power and 360 Nm torque mated to a 6 speed automatic transmission. Innova Crysta receives Eco and Power drive modes.

Tata Hexa gets a 2.2 liter four cylinder VARICOR 400 diesel engine offering 156 PS power and 400 Nm torque mated to a 6 speed manual or a 6 speed automatic gear box. It gets four driving modes of Dynamic, Automatic, Comfort and Rough Road.
