Apollo Tyres Manchester United partnership extended to 129 countries


The Apollo Tyres and Manchester United Football Club partnership formed in 2013 has been extended to now include 129 countries.

Apollo Tyres and Manchester United partnership, which started about three years ago, continues to spread to new countries. The latest countries where the partnership has reached are Africa, Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines, Singapore, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Brunei.

Apart from these, there are 67 countries in Asia, Europe and a few countries in Africa which are already part of this partnership. This expansion of Apollo Tyres Manchester United partnership follows increased awareness for Apollo brand in various markets while it also helps Apollo Tyres in brand building in newer markets.

Apollo and Manchester United started their partnership in 2013.

Following the partnership between Apollo Tyres and Manchester United Football Club, India, Thailand and UK have seen Apollo and Manchester United branded tyres being extensively used. The two partners have also fostered football talent in India, wherein along with Manchester United Soccer School various football camps were held in the country.

Apollo Tyres, leading tyre makers across the globe and a notable tyre brand in the country has a total of 7 manufacturing units located in India, Netherlands and South Africa. The company is in the process of setting up a new manufacturing facility in Hungary at an investment of €475 million.

Apollo Tyres markets its products under two brands, Apollo and Vredestein, through a wide network of exclusive and multi product outlets. The company, which makes tyres for both passenger and commercial vehicles, is also mulling entry into the two wheeler tyre segment in the coming year.
