Arnaud Deboeuf replaces Christian Mardrus, who is appointed Senior Vice President, Chairman of the Management Committee for Africa, the Middle East and India, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. In his new position, 47 year old Arnaud Deboeuf reports directly to Renault-Nissan Alliance Chairman and CEO, Carlos Ghosn. He replaces Christian Mardrus, who moves on as Senior Vice President and Chairman of Management Committee for Africa, Middle East and India, Nissan Motor Co.
Deboeuf is responsible for strengthening cooperation within the Alliance to accelerate each partner’s performance and efficiency. He will serve as Secretary of Renault-Nissan B.V. (RNBV) board, and oversee Alliance matters. RNBV is an equally-owned Renault and Nissan management company based in Amsterdam, responsible for mid-to long-term Alliance strategy. The Alliance Board comprises four senior executives from Renault and Nissan, respectively. Alliance Management Committee was created in April 2014 to manage convergence of 4 major Renault and Nissan functions (Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management, Purchasing and Human Resources).
Arnaud Deboeuf is responsible for the Alliance Global Executive Team within RNBV to accelerate synergies and best-practice sharing elsewhere. NBV team focuses on eight areas at present. These include product planning, A-segment development, IS/IT, customs and trade, and cooperation with Daimler AG.
Arnaud Deboeuf joined Renault in 1993 as an engineer in the Process Engineering Department. He then moved to Manufacturing Department. Between 2004-2007, Deboeufwas Head of Purchasing Strategy and Cost Control at Renault Samsung Motors in South Korea. In 2007, he was appointed Deputy Program Director for Renault’s entry range in France. In 2010, he joined the Alliance in charge of Common Module Family (CMF)-A project. In 2012, he was appointed Programme Director of Renault’s Entry Range.
