Audi India August 2013 sales grow by 21%: Launches first dedicated club for Audi owners

Apart from registering positive sales growth in the month of August 2013, Audi India also announced the appointment of new Head, Joe King. He has replaced Michael Perschke, who has now moved on to international level as Head of Network Strategy and Business Management, AUDI AG. Joe King was working with Audi Australia before his India appointment.

Speaking about August 2013 sales, Joe King says, “Audi has continuously performed well in the first eight months of the year and we look forward to maintain the momentum going forward during the difficult market conditions. We are extremely confident that our exciting products and efficient network will enable us to meet our targets in spite of the current adverse economic sentiments.”

In August, Audi also opened a new dealership in New Delhi, their third in the city. They also launched the new Q3 S Edition diesel with price starting from Rs 24.99 lakh. On the fashion scene, after the showcasing Varun Bahl at the Delhi Couture Week in early August, Audi ended the month showcasing their 2014 Autumn Collection in Mumbai.

Speaking about the dedicated Audi Car Club, Michael Perschke says, “We believe in making fans and not just winning customers. Audi Club India is a one-stop channel that will bring together like-minded Audi owners, address all their needs, reward them and give them access to a host of privileges at Audi and beyond. We have signed up with select high-end brands which will partner with us to further enhance our offerings to our members.
