Bajaj CT100 price slashed – Becomes the cheapest motorcycle in India

Bajaj Auto Limited has reduced prices of the Bajaj CT100 range in India. Offered in three variants, Bajaj CT100 base version is now priced at INR 30,714, a cut of INR 1,939 from its previous price of INR 32,652.

The price of mid range variant CT100 KS (Kick Start) has been reduced from INR 38,637 to INR 31,802, a cut of INR 6,835 while range topping CT100 ES (Electric Start) which was earlier priced at INR 41,997 is now priced at INR 39,885.

Besides the price cut, no change in feature or engine specification is seen on the Bajaj CT100 range. Bajaj CT100 and CT 100KS gets its power via a 99.27cc single cylinder, air cooled engine offering 8 bhp peak power at 7,500 rpm and 8.05 Nm torque at 4,500 rpm.

The range topping Bajaj CT100 ES which gets electric start and alloy wheels is powered by a more powerful 102 cc single cylinder, air cooled engine capable of 7.5 bhp power at 7,500 rpm and 8.24 Nm torque at 5,500 rpm.

Both these engines get mated to a 4 speed gearbox. All three variants is capable of a top speed of 90 kmph but where fuel efficiency is concerned the base variant and KS variant offer 78.1 kmpl while the ES variant offers 69.4 kmpl.

Bajaj Auto regales the CT100 as the best bike in its segment. It offers low maintenance, high mileage and is capable of efficient performance. It is India’s most affordable full sized bike which competes with the TVS Sport, Hero HF Dawn and Deluxe, Hero Splendor iSmart and TVS XL100 in its segment.
