2019 Bajaj Platina 110 H Gear

People looking to buy commuter bikes this festive season can make some good savings with Bajaj bikes such as CT110 and Platina H Gear. These are among the bestselling bikes in the company’s portfolio and are currently available with attractive discounts and benefits.

Discount of up to Rs 6,000 is being offered on both CT110 and Platina H Gear. In addition, customers will also be getting 5 free services and 5 years free warranty. This translates into total savings of up to Rs 7,200.

While Platina 110 H-Gear was launched in June this year, CT110 was launched in July. Platina 110 H-Gear comes with several new features such as updated instrument console and 5-speed gearbox. Colour options include ebony black with blue decals, ebony black with burgundy decals and cocktail wine red.

The bike is available in drum brake and disc brake variants, costing Rs 53,376 and Rs 55,373 (ex-showroom Delhi), respectively. The primary USP of the bike is its H Gear or the Highway gear, which is an additional fifth gear meant for use on highways. The H Gear is designed to deliver both optimal fuel efficiency and riding comfort.

CT110 builds upon the success of CT100, which is one of the most fuel-efficient bikes in the country. CT110 comes with several improvements such as increased ground clearance, semi-knobby tyres, updated suspension, upswept exhaust, and bigger crash guards.

Colour options include matte olive green with yellow decals, gloss ebony black with blue decals, and gloss flame red with bright red decals. CT110 is more attuned to the needs of rural areas, but it will be sold in urban markets as well. CT110 kick start is priced at Rs 37,997, while the electric start variant comes at Rs 44,480.

It may be recalled that just like other two-wheelers manufacturers, Bajaj Auto has also reported negative growth in August 2019. Domestic sales were down -21%, from 2,18,437 units in August 2018 to 1,73,024 units in August 2019.

However, exports have registered positive growth of 5%, up from 1,44,486 units in August 2018 to 1,52,276 units in August 2019. With discount and benefits, the company is hoping to boost sales during the festive season.
