Besides Hero Splendor, Hero HF Deluxe and Passion also ruled the list of best selling motorcycles in April 2016 in top 3 positions. Hero Glamour jumped positions from No. 6 in April 2015 to No. 4 in the past month with 66,756 units sold.
Bajaj Auto Limited recently launched the new V15. It has now found a place on the list of top 10 best-selling motorcycles in India in April 2016 though at a No. 10 spot with 20,057 units sold.
Bajaj CT and Pulsar also continued in 5th and 7th spot with 66,409 and 50,419 units sold respectively. Bajaj Auto Limited has also been actively testing the new Pulsar 150NS in India. The model is already making its way to overseas markets and while the company has not revealed plans of launch in India, rumors suggest it will be launched soon after the Pulsar CS400
Honda saw its CB Shine lose position from No. 4 in April 2015 to No. 6 in the past month with 52,751 units sold as against 73,291 units sold in the same month of the previous year. Honda Dream entered the list after a space of 5 months with 32,503 units sold in April 2016 as compared to 35,852 units sold in April 2015.
At No. 9 position on the list of best sellers in April 2016, Royal Enfield Classic 350 sales increased 71% with total sales of 28,567 units during the month. With 50% of company sales coming from domestic markets, Royal Enfield witnessed growth of 42% last month following new launches.
