2016 Chevrolet Captiva Facelift has been launched today in Thailand at the ongoing 2016 Bangkok Motor Show. Priced from 1,549,000 Baht (INR 29.54 lakh) for the top of the line LTZ AWD variant, new Captiva SUV facelift is now on sale across all Chevrolet dealerships in Thailand.
Compared to the old Captiva, the new once gets a revised front and rear. Highlights of exterior design include 19 inch machined alloys, auto projector headlamps with LED DRL, dual exhaust pipe, and LED taillights.
On the inside, new Captiva gets dual tone dashboard with dark silver insert separating the two colours. Center console features a 7 inch MyLink infotainment system. New Chevrolet Captiva is the first ever car in Thailand to feature Apple Carplay embedded in a 7 inch touchscreen infotainment system. Compared to the old Captiva, the new Captiva’s interiors give a much more premium and luxurious feel.
The seats are arranged in 5+2 format and are covered in perforated leather. Few of the tech features on offer are electrically adjustable driver seat, electric parking brake, keyless entry and start/stop, dual zone climate control, cruise control, tyre pressure monitoring system, etc.
Engine options on offer with the new Captiva are 2.0 liter turbo diesel and 2.4 liter flex-fuel engine. The diesel engine delivers 163 hp and 400 Nm, while the flexfuel engine delivers 167 hp and 230 Nm. Transmission is taken care by a 6 speed AT with Driver Shift Control.
