General Motors has imported a single unit of 2017 Chevrolet Trailblazer Facelift for homologation purposes with launch in India slated for early next year.
2017 Chevrolet Trailblazer Facelift was showcased at the Bangkok Motor Show earlier this year. Set to come in with both external and internal updates, Trailblazer facelift will compete with the new Ford Endeavour and Toyota Fortuner.
2017 Chevrolet Trailblazer Facelift receives a new front design, new front grille, restyled headlamps, larger fog lamps and a host of chrome accents along with new alloys with lower profile tyres.
It also gets a redesigned interior with a new dashboard, updated instrument cluster, state of the art infotainment system besides an 8” display with MyLink, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Abounding in safety features,Trailblazer facelift receives lane change assist, blind warning assist, front parking sensors, collision warning and reverse camera along with cross traffic alert system.
Engine specifications remain unchanged on 2017 Chevrolet Trailblazer Facelift. It continues to be powered by a 2.8 liter Duramax diesel engine offering 197 bhp power at 3,600 rpm and 500 Nm torque at 2,000 rpm mated to an automatic gearbox. It also gets a 3.6 liter V6 petrol engine offering 275 hp power and a 2.5 liter EcoTec petrol engine capable of 200 hp power. Petrol unit might not be launched in India.
Where price of 2017 Chevrolet Trailblazer Facelift is concerned, it will be in the same range as the existing version.
