Crashed Lamborghini Urus could sell for approx. Rs 83 L at auction

There is a crashed 2019 Lamborghini Urus up for sale. Copart, a site that lists auction for wrecked cars is selling this crashed Lamborghini Urus and at the last bidding, price went up to $117,000 (Rs 83 lakhs). In India, price of a new Urus starts from Rs 3 crores.

The crashed Urus is a 2019 model, and has a speedometer reading of 752 miles (1,210 kms). This implies that the original owner had spent very little time on the wheel before the luxury SUV met with an accident.

Having clearly been involved in a serious accident did not deter buyers. In fact, the damaged 2019 Lamborghini Urus is gaining a lot of attention. No details of how the Lamborghini Urus met this end are available, but photos show of its destroyed passenger side which appears to have taken the most impact.

The body work is a crumpled mess while the upper rail is also exposed leaving on a small portion of the fender on the driver’s side still intact. The engine of the 2019 Lamborghini Urus is also a total write-off following the crash.

There is nothing left of the passenger side radiator unit. Parts are dented, but the block remains which is why buyers are trampling over each other to bid for Lambo. Photos also reveal that one of the front wheel has detached. However, it is not certain if this was the result of the crash or whether it has been removed for some other purpose. Damaged parts also include the windscreen while airbags have also deployed.

We wonder what the final auction price would go up to, but after that the costs will escalate even further to do up the vehicle to its former glory. No indications on who its buyer is likely to be, but we guess it could either be picked up for its parts or by a tuning company about to use the damaged Urus as its new project.

Lamborghini Urus is one of the most powerful SUV in the world. It is powered by a 4.0 liter, V8 twin turbo engine offering 641 bhp power at 6,500 rpm and 850 Nm torque. Transmission is via 8 speed automatic gearbox. Acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph is possible in 3.6 seconds while top speed is at 305 kmph. Carboceramic Disc Brakes delivers deceleration from 100 kmph to 0 kmph in 33.7 meters. The Urus gets driving modes of Strada, Corsa and Ego along with a 4WD system with extra modes of Terra for dirt, Sabbia for sand and Neve for snow.
