Eicher Pro range on display at Excon 2015

Eicher is well equipped to tackle competition in the construction and mining sector with a range of products which are on display at the Excon 2015 show in Bengaluru.

Eicher Trucks & Buses launched Pro 8031 XM 8×4 tipper and Pro 6025T 6×4 at Excon 2015 to enhance their portfolio in the mining and construction field. Eicher Pro 8031 XM tipper is built in collaboration with Volvo Group.

This range of new trucks are designed for a variety of mining operations and is suited for operation both on flat roads and on gradients. Equipped with rock body and box body options, the tipper receives a sturdy chassis with advanced telematics and world class cabin. Fuel efficiency on the Pro 8031 is at its peak while it complies with all 20 safety features as laid down by Directorate General of Mines Safety. The VEDX8 7.7 liter engine is capable of 330 hp power and 1200 Nm torque over a wide range from 1200-1500 rpm.

Eicher Pro 6025T tipper receives a VEDX8 7.7 liter engine capable of 220 hp while Pro 6025T RMC gets a VEDX 5 5 liter engine offering 210 hp. Features include best in class cabin leading to better driver efficiency and first in industry intelligent systems. Fuel coaching and vehicle telematics are state of the art and adhere to industry standards.

VE Commercial Vehicles Limited (VECV) a 50-50 joint venture between Volvo Group and Eicher Motors Limited has noted immense growth over the past 7 years. The Volvo Group has made investments in India with best practices not only in quality but production systems as well. The company range includes Eicher trucks and buses, VE Powertrain and Eicher components. The engine plant at Pithampur supplies engines to Eicher both for domestic markets and Euro VI emission standard engines to Europe.
