Fiat Abarth Avventura Top Speed

Avventura will be the third offering from Abarth in India, after 595 Competizione and Punto.

After details of Abarth Punto were leaked earlier in the day, info about their second car, Abarth Avventura have now been leaked. To be powered by the same 1.4l petrol four cylinder T-Jet motor, Abarth Avventura as per the leaked info will deliver a fuel efficiency of 17.1 kmpl (as against 16.3 kmpl of Punto Abarth).

Where 0-100 kmph sprint time is concerned, Abarth Avventura will be able to achieve that in just 9.9 seconds, which is only slower than the Abarth Punto in the under INR 10 lakh segment. Abarth Punto does the same in 8.8 seconds. The time taken to reach from 0 to 1000 m is 31.8 seconds, where as the Punto Abarth takes 30.4 seconds for the same.

Fiat Abarth Avventura Specs

Launch of both Abarth Punto and Abarth Avventura is expected to take place at the same time.

Surprisingly, though the engine is same, on board the Abarth Avventura it is tuned to deliver 140 hp and 210 Nm, while on board the Abarth Punto it delivers 145 hp and 215 Nm. Both engines are mated to a six speed manual gearbox which delivers power to the front wheels.

Visually, compared to the standard Avventura, its Abarth variant gets Scorpion logo on wheel hup cap, steering wheel, on the bonnet and Abarth logo on the side skirts. It also gets the same 16 inch wheels, but with new alloys.

When compared to rivals, Hyundai Elite i20, Volkswagen Polo, Maruti Swift, and Honda Jazz, these figures are very impressive, at least on paper. Price of Punto Abarth and Punto Avventura is expected to be in the range of INR 10 lakh. More details will be revealed at the launch.
