First Kawasaki Ninja 400 arrives in Pune – Sales to commence soon

2018 Kawasaki Ninja 400 on sale in global markets like Japan, Australia and New Zealand has noted very good response.

2018 Kawasaki Ninja 400, the latest addition to the popular Ninja series in the country, is priced at INR 4.69 lakhs. It was officially launched in India in April this year and has now made its way to company showrooms across the country. The first unit of Ninja 400 for customer has arrived in Pune.

Offered in a distinctive color scheme of KRT-edition green in India, the new Kawasaki Ninja 400 will be sold along with the Ninja 300 in India, unlike in other global markets where it has replaced the Ninja 300.

In terms of design, 2018 Kawasaki Ninja 400 carries an aggressive stance. It gets sharp twin LED headlamps, a tall windscreen and fully digital instrument cluster. It has a massive 14 liter fuel tank in a sculpted design with aerodynamic fairing while seating is also ergonomically fashioned to offer optimum comfort to the rider in a forward leaning stance.

The rear end is seen with an LED tail lamp and a well cushioned seat for pillion rider. Sporting a distinctive green and black color scheme, the Ninja 400 receives a high tensile steel trellis framework, 17” alloy wheels and exhaust muzzle in chrome.

Braking power is via 310mm petal disc brake in the front and 220 mm petal disc brake at the rear and dual channel ABS as standard. It also gets conventional telescopic forks measuring 41mm in the front and monoshock at the rear.

Engine specifications include a 399 cc, parallel twin engine offering 49 hp power at 10,000 rpm and 38 Nm torque at 8,000 rpm mated to a 6 speed transmission with slipper clutch offered as standard. With this engine, the Ninja 400 accelerates to a top speed of 190 kmph.
