Ford Endeavour Trend variant price slashed by up to INR 2.82 lakh

Ford India launched the all-new Endeavour SUV earlier this year in January. At that time, the starting price was announced as INR 24.75 lakh, ex-showroom. In March, thanks to Union Budget, the price was increased by about INR 50,000 thanks to increase in excise duty. Later, in August, Ford India increased the price of Endeavour by another INR 50,000 due to increase in production costs.

With the Diwali festive season approaching, Ford India has yet again changed the price of their flagship SUV. But this time, the change is in the favour of their customers.

Ford India has slashed the price of Endeavour Trend variant by up to INR 2.82 lakh. Below are the new variant wise price of Ford Endeavour in India.

Third generation Ford Endeavour SUV is available in both FWD and AWD options. The 2.2l Duratorq 4 cylinder engine delivers 158 hp and 385 Nm torque, while the 3.2l Duratorq 5 cylinder engine delivers 197 hp and 470 Nm torque. It is offered with a choice of six speed manual as well as automatic transmission options.

New Ford Endeavour also gets body-on-frame design, which makes it stronger and more rigid than ever before. You also get 225 mm ground clearance, 800 mm water-wading capability, torque on demand, shift on fly, terrain management system, together makes off-roading a not-so challenging effort for the new Ford Endeavour.

New Ford Endeavour competes with the likes of Toyota Fortuner, Chevrolet Captiva, Chevrolet Trailblazer, SsangYong Rexton, Honda CR-V, and Hyundai Santa Fe. Upon launch in India, it has become one of the best-selling cars in the country, even beating the previous no 1, Toyota Fortuner in MoM (month on month) sales battles.
