GAC Motors GS4 SUV debuts at 2015 NAIAS
GS4, GA6 Limited and WITSTAR Concept from Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd (GAC) are on display at the Detroit Auto Show each displaying properties and features that cements the company’s aim to elevate China’s leading world class automotive brand. GS4 is seen as an amalgamation of the company’s latest research and development achievements, a new set of technology standards and adheres to the highest quality specifications. GS4 is fitted with a 1.3 liter turbocharged engine which offers a higher level of efficiency, extensive driving power and excellent fuel economy.
GS4 from GAC follows a light sculpture 2.0 styling. Interior space is at a premium offering drivers and passengers on board comforts while seats can be laid flat so as to increase luggage space. Safety features abound on board the new GS4 SUV which comes in with features such as AFS, BOSCH 9G ESP, TMPS, besides the new generation Geometric Absorption Control.
GA6 is also on display and seen with dynamic styling and with 1.6 liter and 1.8 liter turbo engines offering 158 hp and 177 hp respectively. WITSTAR Concept was GAC’s third car on display which will be powered by both gasoline engine and electric motor. This PHEV SUV has an all electric range of over 62 miles and overall range of over 370 miles which fuel efficiency stands at 117 mpg. Capable of climbing grades steeper than 32 percent, the WITSTAR Concept can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 4.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 160 kmph.
