British racing driver, Darren Turner presently races for Aston Martin Racing in the FIA World Endurance Championship. The two-time 24 Hours of Le Mans class winner this year competes for the 13th time in the 24 hour Endurance classic. He is glad to participate in the Gulf Oil motorsport event. Aston Martin-Gulf Oil partnership has been successful since 2008 and grows with each passing year. Dareen had a great time demonstrating car safety rules through the Gulf Oil India workshop to motorsport enthusiasts. Speaking about Endurance racing, its requirements and difficulty, today’s event concluded with Darren Turner demonstrating moves in the Aston Martin.
Ian King has 8 FIM European Championships to his name. These include three back-to-back titles, two British championships, and one Irish. With multiple European and UK records to his name, many a track record sees him on top. In regards to his visit for the workshop he says it is a great honour to be felicitated by Gulf Oil in India. With drag racing being one of the biggest motorsport events, it provides top performance. The 1500 hp Gulf Racing Top Fuel Motorcycle can go from 0 – 250 mph (402+ Kmph) in under six seconds. As is almost customary, Ian King smokes some rubber at the Gulf Oil India workshop.
