Launched back in May 2019, the Xpulse 200 has become company’s best selling 200 cc motorcycles. Total sales since launch has crossed the 10k mark. In comparison, the sales of other Hero 200cc motorcycle, the Xtreme 200R, 200S has managed to cross 3.5k units only.
Hero XPulse 200 is a road based motorcycle and offered in two variants of a caburetted variant priced at Rs.97,000 and a fuel injected version priced at Rs.1.05 lakhs. The Hero XPulse 200T is touring motorcycle and offered in a single carbureted version priced at Rs.94,000, thus making these two models feature among the most affordable examples in the entry level off road segment in the country.
These two premium motorcycles are designed and developed at Hero Centre of Innovation and Technology (CIT). Below is the new TVC which has been released by Hero MotoCorp, celebrating the success of the new Xpulse 200.
Hero Xpulse is the only Hero MotoCorp two which is not offered at any discount or benefit during this festive period. This at a time, when Hero is offering exciting discount offers on all their other products.
The Hero XPulse 200 and 200T get the same engine specifications. They are powered by a 200cc, fuel injected, air cooled engine offering 18.4 PS power at 8,000 rpm and 17.1 Nm torque at 6,500 rpm mated to a 5 speed gearbox.
The XPulse 200 gets a higher mounted exhaust as compared to a lower positioned set seen on the XPulse 200T, while similarities between the 200 and 200T include an all digital instrument console with smartphone connectivity and turn by turn navigation and LED head and tail lamps.
Braking is via 276mm front and 220mm rear petal type disc brakes while suspension is handled by conventional telescopic front forks and 7 step adjustable monoshock at the rear. Single channel ABS is offered as standard.
Colour options on the XPulse 200T are Candy Blazing Red, Black, Matte Shield Gold and Matte Axis Grey. Hero XPulse 200 is presented in Sports Red and Black. Both bikes seem to have hit the right mark. After a long time Hero is registering good sales in the 200 cc segment.
