Honda Activa-i, Dio, Aviator BSIII discounts extend up to INR 14,000

From 1st April 2017, India has banned the sale of two wheelers with BSIII compliant engines. This has resulted in dealers announcing huge discounts to clear BSIII stock.

Select dealers of Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) have announced huge discounts across the line-up. Earlier today, we posted about CBR650F being sold at a discount of INR 1 lakh, Navi being offered for free along with CBR250R or CBR150R, and Navi being offered at discount of INR 20,000.

In addition to this, some dealers who have pending stock of BSIII Honda Activa-i, Dio and Aviator -, have announced discount of INR 14,000. This offer is only valid till stocks last or till midnight 31st March 2017.

Speaking about the BSIII Honda Aviator, visual updates come in the form of new chrome insert on the revised apron, garnish on console cover, revised instrument console, clear lens indicators, 3D Honda badge and colour coordinated grab rail. The fully loaded variant receives 12-inch silver finished alloy wheels and front disc brake. Aviator continues to offer Combi Brake System.

Other noteworthy features include tubeless tires, maintenance free battery, viscous air filter and 20 litre underseat storage space.

Speaking about the Activa-i and Dio, it gets more or less the same number of features as seen aboard the Aviator. Also, the engine on board all three scooters is same. This is in the form of 109 cc air-cooled engine which incorporates HET (Honda Eco Technology) generates 8 bhp at 7,000 rpm and 8.77 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm.

With the automatic scooter segment booming, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India is hoping to maintain its market domination with the refreshed lineup of BSIV vehicles.
