Honda Siel Cars India has launched the Honda Brio petrol small car. The hatchback comes fitted with the best of Honda tech, and works in tandem with fuel-efficiency, cabin space, smooth driving, and safety. The Brio is powered with a four cylinder 1.2-liter i-VTEC engine that records max power of 88 PS @ 6000 rpm and max Torque of 109 Nm (11.2 kg-m) @ 4600 rpm.
The Honda Brio has a fuel economy of 18.4 km/l. The 5 speed manual transmission boosts optimized gear ratios. This apart, the small car has been designed after extensive market surveys across India and has taken into consideration lifestyles and driving needs in India which require swift shift of gears and the need to take u-turns.
Honda Brio uses an efficient interior design concept which ensures its innovative packaging embodies spacious interiors. The Honda “man maximum, machine minimum” car design maximizes space for people, and works in reverse order for mechanical components. The compact small car has a turning radius of 4.5m making it easy to drive in city traffic.
Exterior design on the Brio uses a ‘Double Triangle’ concept that comprises of the Dynamic triangle which focuses on the nose, sweeps forward, and the Sporty triangle with focus on the rear fender and the compact car rears. The Honda Brio McPherson strut suspension in front and H-shaped torsion beam rear suspension aids handling.
