Honda Car India models coming under this discount scheme include the Amaze, WR-V, City and Civic
During the Unlock 2.0 phase in July 2020, Honda Car India launched three products. This list includes the all-new 5th Generation City, WR-V facelift and Civic BS6 diesel. The Japanese automaker also noted sales of 5,383 units in the domestic market last month. This is a sales growth of 285 per cent compared to 1,398 units sold in June 2020 or Unlock 1.0 phase.
Honda Car India is offering customers special cash discounts and exchange offers throughout the month of August 2020. These discounts are offered at company dealerships as well as its official online sales portal.
However, depending on dealership location and stock availability, the rate of discounts could vary. On average, Honda Car India’s discount and related benefits for August 2020 are as follows:
Buyers of the Honda Amaze subcompact sedan gets no direct cash discount but can avail special exchange benefits worth Rs 15,000, loyalty bonus of Rs 6,000 and a corporate discount of Rs 4,000. A five-year warranty package is added alongside.
Honda Car India plans to launch the Honda Amaze Ace Edition with special ‘Ace Edition’ branding on the front seatbacks and boot lid. It would be priced at a premium of Rs 15,000 over the car’s regular VX trim. The sub-four-metre sedan is offered in both petrol and diesel formats with options for an automatic transmission. In fact, the current-gen Honda Amaze is the very first car in India to come in diesel-CVT format.
The new Honda WR-V facelift is presented all through the month of August 2020 with a loyalty bonus of Rs 6,000 in addition to a corporate discount of Rs 4,000. Updated to BS6 emission norms, the Honda WR-V facelift comes at a starting price of Rs 8.50 lakh in petrol avatar and Rs 9.80 lakh for its diesel variant. Prices mentioned here are ex-showroom, Delhi.
Offers on the Honda City SV and V trims (previous generation in BS6 format) include a cash discount of Rs 25,000, exchange benefit of Rs 20,000 along with loyalty and corporate discounts of Rs 6,000 and Rs 8,000, respectively. The 5th gen Honda City, launched last month, enhances competition in the C-segment sedan category with a more appealing design, increased dimensions, new features and improved safety. Buyers can avail a loyalty bonus of Rs 6,000 in August 2020.
Finally comes the Honda Civic BS6. Petrol and diesel variants are offered with a major cash discount of Rs 1 lakh and Rs 1.50 lakh, respectively along with loyalty and corporate discounts.
