The Honda CBR500R Custom motorcycle built by K-Speed is one of the many highlights at the 2016 Bangkok Motor Show. The custom project is based on the updated fully faired motorcycle and is one of the winning entries of Honda Thailand’s Motorbike Idea Challenge 2016.
K-Speed has taken an already aggressive motorcycle and upped its steed cred by bestowing it a matte grey paint job, a mean looking front fairing with low set headlamps and narrow LED daytime running light elements. Conventional turn indicators are replaced by LED blinkers on the rear view mirror and on the fairing panels.
The fuel tank sports knee pads and pillion seat receives a trendy cover. Like any other custom motorcycle, the CBR500R by K-Speed receives a more aggressive clip-on handlebar, new foot peg assemblies and of course, a custom exhaust (made by Motive) and Brembo front brake. There are no shortly supply of carbon fibre bits on the motorcycle.
Tech spec details of the motorcycle have not been furnished. The stock bike is propelled by a 471 cc parallel-twin engine which produces 47 PS (in compliance with European A2 license norms). Suspension system continues to comprise telescopic front fork and rear monoshock.
