Honda CRF150L Prototype showcased in Indonesia GIIAS 2017
Powering the Honda CRF150L prototype is a 149.2cc single cylinder unit.
Honda has revealed a prototype version of the Honda CRF150L at the 2017 GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show. The concept bike sits on Pirelli tyres and gets Russian Motocross Livery from HRD Evgeny Bobryshev’s trademark ‘777’.
Showcased as a concept, the Honda CRF150L looks production ready with Showa long travel inverted forks in the front and monoshock with linkage at the rear. It gets disc brakes at both ends and 80/100 section front and 100/100 section Pirelli tyres 21” front and 18” at the rear. The underseat exhaust is from Yoshimura.
Powering Honda CRF150L is a 149.2cc, SOHC air cooled, single cylinder engine. This engine uses fuel injection and offers 9.8 kW at 8,500 rpm and 12.3 Nm torque at 6,500 rpm. It is mated to a 5 speed transmission. Set to enter production later this year, various other changes could be making its way to the concept. No price details have also been announced as on date while the Honda CRF150L will rival the Kawasaki KLM 150 once officially launched.
Besides showcasing the Honda CRF150L concept in Indonesia, Honda CB150R Street Fire was also noted with five new color schemes. The company expects to see notable sales of this motorcycle to the tune of 14,000 units annually.
