Honda Mobilio launched in Mumbai, bookings cross 6,500
First ever seven seater from Honda in India, the new Mobilio is targeted at buyers in the age group of 30-40 years, live with family and have kids. A clear picture of their target customer can be seen in the official Mobilio TVC below, which is now also being aired on national television.
Offered with a choice of petrol and diesel engine options, Honda Mobilio competes with the likes of Maruti Ertiga, Chevrolet Enjoy, Nissan Evalia, and Toyota Innova. Main rival is Maruti Ertiga, which enjoys No 1 position in the segment, with sales that average 5,000 units monthly. Honda aims to eat a large pie of these sales with the help of Mobilio.
USP of Mobilio is Honda’s technologically advanced and reliable engine. Honda Mobilio not only offers more interior space as compared to Ertiga, it also offers best in class mileage. The petrol Mobilio offers a mileage of 17.9 kmpl while the diesel variant offers a mileage of 24.2 kmpl.
Offered in three petrol trims – E, S, V, and four diesel trims – E, S, V, RS – Honda has managed to price each of them very competitively as against rivals. Following is the ex-showroom price of Mobilio in Mumbai, which was revealed earlier today.
