Honda to educate 6,000 kids on road safety

Honda has announced CRF 50 FEST to impart safe riding techniques and road safety lessons to over 6,000 kids.

Honda CRF 50 FEST is an initiative planned by Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) to teach road safety to children. A fleet of specially imported CRF 50 motorcycles are being used for the purpose.

Honda CRF 50 FEST was flagged off in Delhi. After this, it will go to Chandigarh, Lucknow, Indore, Kolkata, Bhubaneshwar, Hyderabad, Chennai, Cochin, Bengaluru, Pune and Ahmedabad.

Honda CRF 50 Fest is a fun learning experience while at the same time imparts safe riding techniques to children in the age group of 9-12 years.

Honda Road Safety

While real life riding conditions in an organized and secure environment are planned, the activities are conducted by trained Honda safety instructors. The activities are fun filled and include theory sessions, traffic signal quizzes and puzzles on road rules and regulations. One Road Safety Champ will be selected on the basis of performance while all participants will be presented with mementos to mark the occasion.

To date, Honda has trained over 5 lakh persons on road safety techniques with special focus on females and children. HMSI has adopted 8 Traffic Training parks in Chandigarh, Jaipur, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Yeola (Nashik), Hyderabad besides 2 in Delhi from where over 2 lakh persons have been trained in safe riding techniques.
