Hyundai Venue internet connected features detailed in TVC – Video

Spy images of the new Hyundai Venue subcompact SUV have emerged ahead of official debut on April 17, 2019. These images draw attention to the exterior makeup of the subcompact SUV along with some details of its interiors with styling cues borrowed from the automakers global SUVs such as the Creta and Kona.

Hyundai Venue features large front cascading grille, diamond cut alloy wheels and split headlamp. It is also its LED turn indicators and square LED DRLs that have been the highlights in the front.

Speaking about things officially revealed by Hyundai regarding Venue, are its internet connected features, that can be accessed via a smartphone. These are now detailed in official video TVC, which can be seen below.

Towards the end of the video, Hyundai makes it clear that the car featured in the TVC, is a Verna. But it will be the Venue, which will first get these features in India. Other Hyundai cars like Creta, Verna are expected to get the internet connected features at a later date.

Hyundai Venue is loaded with features, probably even more than XUV300. Venue will be offered along with Hyundai BlueLink, which will be introduced in the Global market with 33 features out of which 10 will be India specific internet car features. These have been developed by keeping aspect like safety, convenience, vehicle management relationship services etc in mind.

Hyundai Venue interiors are done up in an all black color scheme. It will also come in with a multifunction steering wheel, floating touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a large MID unit positioned between the dual pod instrument cluster.

Hyundai Venue will be powered by 1.4 petrol and 1.4 diesel engine option, same ones which also power Verna in India. There will also be the addition of new 1.0 liter 3 cylinder turbo petrol motor, which will be mated with dual clutch automatic transmission – a first time in segment.

Hyundai Venue marks the entry of the automaker into the sub-compact SUV segment which will give the Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza and Mahindra XUV300 some serious competition. Prices are expected to start from Rs. 8 lakhs, ex-sh.
