Hyundai Venue is creating its own identity in the UV space. It’s performance through May-Sept 2019 has been top notch. With over 75k bookings, and more than 42,681 customers, these last 5 months have been fruitful for the brand. More than 50% owners chose the BlueLink internet enabled variant of Venue.
The brand says Hyundai Venue stands atop in the compact SUV segment. For the company, it’s a new sales record in the compact SUV segment. As the highest selling UV in India, Venue is setting new landmarks, and surpassing existing benchmarks.
Activity around Hyundai Venue has been robust, and continues to infuse life into a stagnant auto industry. For the brand, this was a segment that the company hasn’t offered a vehicle in for the longest time. With it, Hyundai now plans to strengthen its UV performance in India.
The brand already sells the popular Hyundai Creta here. The vehicle is for an upgrade in quicktime, and will borrow from the Kia Seltos. The latter being Kia’s first product in India.
Speaking about Hyundai Venue sales comparison with rival sub 4 meter SUVs in the market today, Maruti Brezza comes close 2nd with over 40k sales. Mahindra XUV300 is 3rd with about 19k sales. Tata Nexon is 4th with 17k sales while Ford EcoSport is last with 16k sales. Sales are from May 2019 to Sep 2019.
