First launched back in May this year, which is when the company had revealed its price, deliveries of the new Indian Scout Sixty starts from today.
Launching new Scout Sixty in India is a part of the company plan to increase sales. Along with launching new motorcycles, Indian is also focused on increasing their dealer count. They aim to have a total of 12 dealerships by the end of 2016.

These include Indian Roadmaster, Indian Chief Classic, Indian Chief Vintage, Indian Chieftain, Indian Chief Dark Horse, Indian Scout and now Indian Scout Sixty.
Being an entry level motorcyle in the Indian range, new Scout Sixty is expected to bring in more sales to the brand. This will help them achieve their aim of capturing 15% market share this year. If this is made possible, it also means that Indian Motorcycle will register a growth of 45-50% this year in the country.
Indian Scout Sixty India LaunchAs of today, Indian Motorcycles are sold as CBU in the country. On an average, each of their motorcyle command a 1 month waiting period. The company has no plans for starting local production as of now or to bring in the bikes as CKD units.
