Jaguar F-Pace revealed in official video ahead of Frankfurt Motor Show

Global debut of Jaguar F-Pace will take place at 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, which opens its doors on September 15, 2015. The debut is also part of the company’s 80th anniversary celebrations, making the car even more special.

First images and a short video of Jaguar F-Pace have now been revealed, showcasing the side profile of the model. Based on the Jaguar C-X17 concept, which was first showcased in 2013, the F-Pace was a study which was showcased to see how the world reacts to a Jaguar SUV / crossover. Two years later, Jaguar is all set to unveil their first SUV, the F-Pace.

Displaying sporty body work, Jaguar F-Pace is powered by the company’s new Ingenium engine lineup, which includes four cylinder petrol and diesel engines. Apart from these, there will be a supercharged 3.0 liter V6 which will power the Jaguar F-Pace S trim. This 3.0 liter V6 engine will be capable of 250 kW and 450 Nm torque.

Jaguar F-Pace will be produced at the company’s Solihull plant in England with sales commencing globally from early 2016. Once launched, it will compete with the likes of Audi Q5, Mercedes GLE Class, and BMW X3. Expect the price to start from around £30,000, placing the F-Pace in the same category of siblings Land Rover Discovery Sport and Range Rover Evoque.
