New Jaguar Land Rover PDC now open in Bhiwandi, near Mumbai

Spread over an area of 70,000 sq ft, the new Parts Distribution Center of Jaguar Land Rover is located in Bhiwandi near Mumbai.

Jaguar Land Rover has officially inaugurated a new Parts Distribution Center (PDC) at Bhiwandi, near Mumbai.

The PDC is spread over 70,000 sq ft and includes a regionally optimized inventory for both Jaguar and Land Rover cars; controlled by Jaguar Land Rover central inventory management team. The fully functional Jaguar Land Rover PDC is guaranteed to enhance customer service operations in the country and create an expanding market for all JLR models in India.

This new Jaguar Land Rover PDC is regaled as one of the safest warehouses in India with the most high-tech firefighting equipment with early smoke detection devices that are even more responsive as compared to the conventional system. In-rack and overhead sprinklers have also been fitted while other safety equipment is also be in place.

Jaguar and Land Rover have 21 authorised dealerships in major cities across the country. The company offers customers in India with over 30 different engines/derivatives.

Land Rover Discovery Sport India launch

The new Discovery Sport has entered production at JLR plant in Pune. It is expected to be launched by September 2015.

The Jaguar range includes XF, XJ and F-Type priced from INR 42.5 to INR 124.75 lakhs while the Land Rover range includes the locally assembled Freelander 2 and Range Rover Evoque; along with imported as CBUs – Discovery 4, Range Rover Sport and Range Rover; with prices ranging from INR 41.6 lakhs to INR 181.6 lakhs. New launches and expansion of networks by the end of this year is also on the cards.
