When launched in India, third-generation Carnival will be offered with a BS6 2.2-litre turbocharged diesel engine that generates max power of 200 hp @ 3,800 rpm and max torque of 441 Nm @ 1,750-2,750 rpm. Kia has got a good start in the Indian market with Seltos, which has received more than 60k bookings. In Nov 2019, Seltos became India’s best-selling SUV. It is also one of the top exported cars from India.
Kia now has an excellent opportunity to build momentum and boost sales by continuously introducing new products. In addition to Carnival, the company has lined up various other cars for the Indian market such as Kia Sportage, Kia Rio, Kia Stonic, Kia Soul and Kia Stinger.
