2016 KTM 1290 Super Duke R Special Edition on display at the 2015 EICMA Show will be on offer for a limited time period. It will be seen with special visual enhancements in a white and Galvano Orange paint along with anodized aluminum orange caps for clutch and brake reservoirs, carbon finished generator covers and two part seat while ride height is increased by 2mm.
KTM has also added an Akrapovic exhaust which is 1.5 kg lighter, stiffer triple clamps and adjustable brakes and clutch levers to make the special edition 2016 KTM 1290 Super Duke R stand apart.
KTM 1290 Super Duke GT has also been detailed at the 2015 EICMA Show. This bike is based on the 1290 Super Duke R and comes in with the same 1301 cc, four stroke, two cylinder, 75 degree, V Twin engine offering 173 bhp power and 106 lb/ft torque.
Semi active WP suspension, lean angle sensitive ABS and traction control, ride modes and cruise control are a part of its makeup. KTM has revealed that the 1290 Super Duke GT receives Brembo brakes, two monobloc four piston radial calipers with 320mm discs in front and two piston calipers with 240mm discs at the rear. 2016 KTM 1290 Super Duke GT sits on Pirelli Angel GT tyres, weights a total of 205 kgs when dry and 228 kgs with a full tank of 23 liter capacity.
