Launched in Vietnam in petrol and diesel engine options, the LDH model of Hyundai Creta is on sale in Vietnam through local partner Hyundai Thanh Cong.
Priced at VND 806 million (Rs 23.6 lakhs) for the petrol variant and VND 846 million (Rs 24.8 lakhs) for its diesel engine counterpart, Hyundai Creta is powered by a 1.6 liter four cylinder DOHC petrol engine offering 121.3 bhp power and 151 Nm torque. There is also a 1.6 liter four cylinder DOHC CRDi engine with VGT offering 126.3 bhp power and 259 Nm torque while both engines are mated to 6 speed automatic transmission.
Akin in stance and features as compared to the Hyundai Creta on sale in India, the LHD Hyundai Creta in Vietnam sees similar exterior and interior features. It sits on 17” diamond cut alloy wheels and is seen with silver skid guards, roof rails, ORVMs with side indicators and projector headlight along with LED daytime running lights.

Interiors receive automatic climate control, rear AC vents, keyless entry and start/stop button. Leather wrapped steering wheel and gear knobs are also evident as are comfortable seating with leather upholstery and contracting stitching. Where safety features are concerned, Hyundai Creta in Vietnam gets ABS with EBD, ESC, Hill Start Assist and front bags that include safety front airbags, dual front airbags and curtain airbags.
Ever since its launch in India in July, yundai Creta has been registering sales to the tune of 7,500 units each month. Despite competition from various quarters such as Mahindra & Mahindra, Renault, Ford and, Maruti Suzuki, new Hyundai Creta has seen immense response in the Indian market. For the past two months, it has been the best selling SUV in India.
