With festive season sales not as per expectations, most car dealers across India are offering huge discounts for the month of Dec 2018. Instead of having about 4 weeks worth of stock, some dealers are now stuck with about 10 weeks worth of stock. Thanks to this, Dec 2018 is turning out to be the best month to buy a new car.
Every car brand in India is offering huge discounts. Right from Maruti to Mercedes, discounts are being offered ranging from Rs 50,000 to Rs 10 lakhs, depending on the car you buy.
Those cars which were never offered with discounts till date, are now being offered with discounts. This includes the likes of Maruti Brezza, Tata Tiago, etc. Even newly launched cars like the Mahindra Alturas and the Marazzo are being sold at discounts.
Mahindra dealers are offering up to Rs 1 lakh discount on the newly launched Alturas SUV, which is a rival to the Toyota Fortuner. The latter too is on offer at a discount of Rs 1.25 lakhs.
Mahindra Marazzo is being offered at a discount of Rs 15,000. The newly launched 7 seater MPV of Mahindra is a rival to Toyota Innova Crysta, which is also being offered at Rs 1 lakh discount.
Speaking about other Mahindra car discounts – Bolero is being offered at a discount of Rs 50,000; TUV300 is being offered at Rs 65,000 discount, TUV300 Plus is being offered at Rs 70,000 discount, KUV100 NXT is being offered at Rs 79,000 discount, XUV500 discount is at Rs 80,000, while Scorpio is being offered at Rs 85,000 discount.
Mahindra is now the 4th largest car maker in India. In Nov 2018, they sold 16,191 cars. Tata Motors has overtaken Mahindra in terms of sales, thanks to new launches like the Tiago, Nexon and Tigor. Mahindra too has planned a string of new car launches in the coming weeks, which will help them boost sales further. One of their new exciting launch, is that of the XUV300.
