Mahindra, like other automakers in the country have reported de-growth in July 2019 even though June 2019 ended on a positive note. Domestic sales dipped 16 percent to 37,474 units in the past month as against sales of 44,605 units in July 2018. Exports increased 3 percent to 2,668 units as against 2,594 units sold in the same month of the previous year.
Left with piling stocks, the company has extend special cash discounts and exchange schemes across its range. The Mahindra KUV100 can be bought through the month of August 2019 at a cash discount of Rs.35,000, with which buyers will get accessories worth Rs.5,000 free. The exchange offer is at Rs.29,000.
The pre facelift Mahindra TUV300 is being offered at a cash discount of Rs.52,000, Rs.5,000 of free accessories and exchange offer of Rs.15,000. The TUV300 Plus variant comes in with a cash discount of Rs.35,000, free accessories of Rs.5,000 and exchange bonus of Rs.25,000. The Mahindra TUV300 BS VI has been spied testing and is expected to go on sale sometime by the end of 2019.
Mahindra Bolero Power Plus has been updated with ABS as a standard fitment and will soon be powered by a BS VI compliant engine. Through August 2019, cash benefits of Rs.11,500 are being offered on the older Bolero Power Plus along with accessories of Rs.3,500 and an exchange bonus of Rs.10,000.
The Thar ABS is also on discount by Rs.9,000 along with a corporate discount of Rs.5,000 while the XUV300, Marazzo M2 and M4 are exclusively offered only with an exchange benefit upto Rs.15,000. Marazzo M6 and M8 also get no cash discount but only exchange bonus of Rs.40,000 along with free insurance for 1 year.
All models of Mahindra Scorpio with the exception of the base variant are offered with a Rs.20,000 cash discount, Rs.10,000 worth of accessories and Rs.25,000 exchange bonus. The XUV500, except the W3, is also offered with a cash discount of Rs.26,000, Rs.10,000 worth of accessories and Rs.25,000 exchange offer.
Mahindra Alturas G4 is also a part of the discount scheme through August but varies according to dealership. Corporate discounts are also on offer across range from Rs.4,000-9,000 depending on model and variant.
