The sluggish pace at which the automobile sector is progressing has left many automakers with piling stocks. To attract buyers into company showrooms, these automakers have introduced hefty cash discounts and exchange schemes all through the month of July 2019. Mahindra and Mahindra is offering discounts and exchange benefits on the KUV100, TUV300, Marazzo, Scorpio, XUV300, XUV500, Bolero Power Plus and Thar ABS extending to as much as Rs. 63,000 on the TUV300 T4+ variant.
Mahindra KUV100 – Mahindra KUV100 K2 variant is being offered at a cash discount of Rs.15,000 along with Rs.5,000 worth of accessories. This cash discount goes up to Rs.21,000 on KUV100 K4+ variant and to Rs.35,000 on the KYV100 K6 and K8 variants along with accessories for Rs.5,000. The company is also offering an exchange bonus of Rs.28,750 and corporate bonus of Rs.4,000 on the model.
Mahindra TUV300 – Discounts and benefits are being offered on TUV300 T4+, T6+, T8 and T10 variants. On the T4+ variant, cash discount is at Rs.58,000. The T6+ variant gets a cash discount of Rs.57,000 and the T8 and T10 variants get cash discount of Rs.48,000 and Rs.42,000 respectively. Each of these variants are also offered with free accessories worth Rs.5,000 and corporate discount of Rs.4,500.
Mahindra Marazzo – Mahindra Marazzo M2 and M4 variants can be bought with an exchange bonus of Rs.15,000 while the M6 and M8 variants are offered with 1 year free insurance and Rs.40,000 exchange bonus. Mahindra Marazzo launched in September 2018 is priced from Rs.10.18-14.59 lakhs. It initially saw monthly sales above the 3,000 unit mark but sales have been declining in the past few months.
Mahindra Scorpio – Cash discount of Rs.15,000 is being offered on the Mahindra Scorpio S5 and S11 variants. This goes up to Rs.20,000 on the S7 and S7 variants along with benefits of Rs.10,000 in the form of accessories, Rs.25,000 exchange bonus and Rs.5,000 corporate discount. The fourth generation Mahindra Scorpio has been spied testing and it was noted with several exterior and interior updates. Launch date is set for sometime in early 2020.
Mahindra Bolero Power Plus – With the new Bolero Power Plus soon getting updated with ABS as a standard fitment along with a BS VI compliant engine lineup, the company is offering benefits of Rs.29,000 on the older Bolero Power Plus. This includes Rs.11,500 cash discount, accessories of Rs.3,500, exchange bonus of Rs.10,000 and Government Employee benefits of Rs.4,000.
Mahindra XUV500 – Sales of Mahindra XUV500 have been affected really hard, thanks to launch of new cars like Jeep Compass, Tata Harrier, MG Hector and the soon to be incoming, Kia Seltos. In order to keep pace with rivals, Mahindra is working on a new generation XUV500, but that will launch next year. Till that time, they are trying hard to push the existing XUV500, which is based on the first gen model, that was introduced in 2011. Discount offers on XUV500 ranges from Rs 60,000 to Rs 65,000 including benefits and exchange.
