No further details regarding the passenger variant were divulged but it’s expected to be available in a fixed configuration of payload, power output and seating capacity unlike the Jeeto which is available in 8 configurations to suit the varied customer requirements in the sub-1 tonne last mile transportation segment.

Mr. Shah also revealed that since Jeeto covers a wide market area starting from a load carrying three-wheeler to light truck, the aging Gio micro LCV will be discontinued eventually. He also added that the company is comfortably placed in terms of inventory levels of Gio in the system.

Coming back to Mahindra Jeeto, the small CV is available in 8 variants with two different engine output rating, two payload ratings and three deck lengths.
