Mahindra Jeeto celebrates 1st year anniversary with 20% market share

Launched in June 2015, the Mahindra Jeet mini truck range which consists of 8 variants has been putting a strong show in the Indian small commercial vehicle segment. Within a year of its launch, the vehicle managed to garner 20% market share in its segment.

The performance has also put Mahindra as the market leaders in the small commercial vehicle space. To celebrate the compact load carrier’s 1st year anniversary, Mahindra has announced an exchange offer of up to INR 20,000.

The Jeeto is powered by a 625 cc diesel engine.

The Jeeto is also offered with 2 year/40,000 km warranty. The vehicle’s low maintenance, best-in-class mileage and high performance is claimed to result in 30% higher earning potential than its rivals. Speaking of rivals, the Jeeto is positioned to take on the Tata Ace Zip.

Manufactured at Mahindra’s extended Zaheerabad plant in Telangana, the Jeeto is available in 3 deck lengths, 2 output ratings and 2 payload ratings (600 and 700 kg). The SCV packs a 625 cc diesel engine which is available in two states of tune – 11 hp and 38 Nm of torque. The most fuel efficient version has a mileage rating of 36.7 kmpl. Transmission is a 4-speed unit.

The Mahindra Jeeto is marketed as a last mile goods transport solution. In addition to being well received by the commercial operators, the vehicle has also received good response from e-Commerce giants (Amazon is a big Jeeto customer) and captive customers.
