Anand Mahindra was quite taken by the new TUV300 at the presentation ceremony itself, where he expressed his desire to get one for himself. One might have thought that if it is Mr Mahindra who wants a TUV300, it would have immediately, but instead, he was made to wait, as like any other Mahindra car buyer.
The TUV300 handed over to Anand Mahindra is a customized variant which was on display at the launch. The customization pack which is loaded on Mr Mahindra’s TUV300, is called ‘Armour pack’ and is on sale at every Mahindra dealer. The TUV300 sports a unique Olive Green color and Anand Mahindra’s favorite registration number ‘1555’.
This special kit gives Anand Mahindra’s TUV300 front and rear stone guards and side cladding. This theme continues to front bumper extensions, fat wheel arches and marker lamps besides a Bonnet Hull all of which are unseen on a regular TUV300. Chrome accents are seen across the body on grille, bumpers, handles and ORVMs while luggage and bicycle racks, side steps and new alloy wheels are also a part of its exterior makeup.
Anand Mahindra has been handed over a top end spec TUV300. The model sports features like EBD, ABS, dual airbags and engine immobilizer. Interiors receive a beige and black color scheme, a multi information display besides Bluetooth telephony and controls for audio. A multi function steering wheel, parking brake lever and power window switch has also been positioned at the rear side of central console.

Just like other TUV300’s on offer, Mr Mahindra’s TUV300 is also powered by the same 1.5 liter 3 cylinder turbo diesel engine offering 80 bhp peak power and 230 Nm peak torque via AMT gearbox. Price of this variant on road in Mumbai is at about INR 11 lakh.
