Mahindra TUV300 launching today – Live Webcast

AMT is offered on two variants.

The Mahindra TUV300 is all set to be launched later today and you can watch all the action here live. Bookings for the sub-4m ladder frame SUV have started a few days ago.

The TUV300 was previewed in the form of official sketches and was spied without any camouflage, so there are no surprises as far as the design is concerned. The new product was designed at Mahindra’s Kandivli studio with inputs from Pininfarina.

The boxy styling is characterized by vertical grille, interesting headlamps, rectangular foglights, flat roof and upright tailgate with spare wheel. The dual-tone dashboard adopts fresh design with a multifunction steering wheel, hexagonal centre console, and a comprehensive infotainment system.

The TUV300 will be available in 7 variants –┬áT4, T4+, T6, T6+, T6+ AMT, T8+, T8+ AMT. Standard features include power windows, tilt steering and immobilizer, and of course AC and power steering go without saying. Save for the base T4 variant, all other variants get ABS. Dual airbags are available from T6+ on wards.

The design is inspired by battle tank.

Power comes from a 1.5-litre three cylinder mHawk80 diesel engine which is expected to produce 80 bhp and a torque output of around 230 Nm. A 5-speed manual and an AMT constitute the transmission lineup.

The Mahindra TUV300 is estimated to be price around INR 7.0-8.5 lakhs (ex-showroom). Stay tuned as we bring you all the details and images from the ground zero.
